Abstract

1,200,814. Trolley. HOSKINS & SEWELL Ltd. 3 Dec., 1968 [19 Jan., 1968], No. 2902/68. Heading B7B. [Also in Division H5] A patient's trolley has an X-ray cassette holder mounted to it below a patient supporting platform 15 by magnetic means. In Fig. 1 the platform 15 is spaced from a parallel member 14 which carries a strip 16 of mild steel. The cassette holder (17, Fig. 2, not shown) has two magnets (19) which secure the holder to the strip in the desired longitudinal position on top of member 14. The platform 15 and member 14 are each divided into two sections, one pair of sections 15b, 14b being pivotable on frame 13 which is itself pivotable on framework 11. Alternatively the member 14 may carry magnetized material and the cassette holder magnetically susceptible material.
