Cartridge magazines.-Consists in a rotary magazine comprising a shallow drum a, a<1> holding the cartridges radially by means of two rows of projecting pins b, c, and adapted to be rotated by a central clock spring e to feed the cartridges through a radial opening k in a stationary coverplate h. In the construction shown, there are two layers of cartridges pressed downwards by a spring platform p. Two feed horns l are arranged at the side of the opening k in the cover-plate.
