Abstract

1,199,303. Impact pulverizers. CKD PRAHA, OBOROVY PODNIK. 15 Sept., 1967 [23 Sept., 1966], No. 42190/67. Heading B2A. A crusher comprises a feed hopper 4 a rotor 2 with beaters 3 and an outlet 5. A baffle plate 6 opposite the feed hopper has a gabled roof profile, the base serving as an impact wall. The dimension of the base at right angles to the rotor axis is greater than half the diameter of the rotor inclusive of the beators. The plate 6 is suspended at 12 and plates 6a are similarly shaped and resiliently mounted. The baffle plates are adjustable in guideways 9 and held in position by bolts 10. The crusher casing I is protected by further plates 7 and has a lid 13 to give access to the plates 7 and 6a.
