Perambulators and hand-propelled vehicles; folding and collapsible vehicles.-A collapsible invalid chair has the back 3 and vertical members 8, 8' hinged at 4, 6 to fold against the seat 2. Jointed links 13, 14, 15, 16 hold these parts in the extended position. Arms 17 have link connexions 18 so that they fold down with the back. The post 24 of the pilot wheel 23 is detachably mounted in a bracket 25 and in braces 28, 28<1> which are secured to the members 8, 8' by nuts 31, 31<1> The axle 21 of the wheels 19 is secured to the members 8, 8' by the engagement therewith of a shoulder on the end parts 32, 32' of the braces 28, 28<1>. A foot-rest 11 is adjust. ably mounted between the members 8, 8' by holes 9 and chains 12. A detachable and adjustable leg-rest comprises a canvas-covered frame 44 suspended by straps 47 from a bar 38 rotatably supported bv a bracket 34 secured by screws 43, 31<1> to one of the members 8, 8<1>. The members 45 of the frame 44 are jointed for collapsing the frame. For collapsing the vehicle, the leg-rest 38, 44, the post and wheel 24, 23, the braces 28. 28<1>, and the axle 21 are detached and the wheels 19 are removed from the axle 21. The foot-rest 11 is turned up between the members 8, 8<1> and these and the back 3 are then folded against the seat 2.
