Abstract

1,193,340. Wells &c. VE SPEZIALBAUKOMBINAT MAGDEBURG. 5 Sept., 1967, No. 40616/67. Heading E1F. The earth surrounding filter pipes 4 radiating from a well shaft is conditioned by removing the finer particles. The propulsion head of each pipe has zones 2, 3 through which water and the particles may flow to a tube 5, the position of a tube 8 determining whether the flow is through either or both of the zones. The tube 8 is moved by means of a rack and pinioin in the shaft and a connecting rod 6.
