Piezoelectric ceramics consist of a solid solution of Pb(Fe 1/3 Z 2/3)O 3 , PbTiO 3 and PbZrO 3 , where Z represents Nb or Sb, and 0À1 to 3 wt. per cent of MnO. Up to 25 atom per cent of the Pb may be replaced by Ba, Sr or Ca.
