Abstract
1,189,287. Endless conveyers. ORENSTEIN-KOPPEL und LUBECKER MASCHINENBAU A.G. 21 Jan., 1969 [26 Jan., 1968], No. 3314/69. Heading B8A. Hand-rail return guide means for an escalator comprising a chain consisting of hand-rail support rollers 1 linked by fish-plates 3 and adapted for attachment by its ends 9 to an escalator balustrade in alignment with the escalator hand-rail 6. The rollers are mounted on a bearing pin 2 linking the plates 3 and 2, the ends of which are supported on ledges 7 in a hand protection unit 8. The pins 2 are held in the fish-plates 3 by means of detachable elastic spreader rivets (5) (Fig. 2, not shown).
