Abstract

1,185,237. Fungicides containing salts of alkyl cyanocarbamates. E. I. DU PONT DE NEMOURS & GO. 14 Nov., 1967 [15 Nov., 1966], No. 51779/67. Heading A5E. [Also in Division C2] The locus of living plant material may be treated with a composition comprising a fungicidally effective amount of a compound of the formula: wherein R is a C 1-4 alkyl group and X is hydrogen, halogen or a nitro or C 1-4 alkyl group. The active ingredient may comprise 1-95% by wt. of the fungicidal composition which may be formulated as a dust, slurry, suspension, spray, aerosol, powder or granules and applied to plant parts such as fruits, tubers, bulbs and roots. The compositions may also contain other conventional additives such as inert solids, organic liquid solvents, organic liquid or aqueous diluents, surface active agents, wetting agents and dispersants.
