Abstract

1,179,195. Pressure gauges. O.H. DR€GER [trading as DR€GERWERK, HEINR. & BERNH. DR€GER] Jan. 24, 1968 [Jan. 24, 1967], No.3836/68. Heading G1L. A pressure gauge comprises a housing G, a pointer movable over a scale under the control of a pressure influenced tubulor spring 3 and a displaceable pin 13 having an outer portion 12 which projects from the housing to an extent dependent on the indicated pressure. The spring 3 is connected to a bore 2 and a cylindrical bore 7 is connected by a bore 6 to the bore 2. The lower end of the pin, which is sealed by an 'O'-ring 9, projects into the bore 7 and a compression spring 11 abuts a collar 10 of the pin to bias the pin inwardly. The portion 12 of the pin has four grooves which provide a touch indication of the degree of fullness of a cylinder to which the gauge is attached. In a modification, the spring 11 is replaced by a bellows.
