Abstract

1,178,261. Wall panels. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 15 March, 1967 [25 Jan., 1966], No. 3257/66. Heading E1B. Curved wall panels 11 forming part of a semi-cylindrical building structure have interlocking edge flanges 13 and 14 and are bolted together along said edges. The flanges 14 have turned-back edge portions 16 (Fig. 2, not shown) to form edge grooves which receive the simple edge flanges 13. The panels are formed of glass fibre reinforced synthetic resin, and have thickened bands adjacent the curved edge flanges, which are also thicker than the main body portions. The panels also have apertured upper and lower edge flanges 12.
