[Also in Division C3] A bearing, wherein the bearing comprises a backing layer and a sliding layer, and wherein the sliding layer comprises polytetrafluoroethylene with 2 to 8% by volume based on the volume of the sliding layer of lead monoxide, alone or in admixture with lead sulphide. The backing layer may comprise steel having a porous layer of tin bronze sintered thereon, the sliding layer lying in the bronze layer.
