Abstract

1,166,159. Wells. TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP. 22 Dec., 1967 [28 Dec., 1966], No. 58540/67. Heading E1F. In well flow test apparatus for use with a well having a plurality of blowout preventers assembled on the well head 12, there is a first tubing string 20, a fail-closed valve 21 connected into the string for controlling flow of well fluid therethrough, a second tubing string 24 concentric with the first string and connected to the valve, and means 26 for applying hydraulic pressure in the annulus between the strings to actuate the valve. Blow-out preventer 39 has a pair of pipe rams 40, 41 on which a suspension collar attached to the second string rests.
