[Also in Division A1] A forage harvester connected to a tractor by vertically adjustable draw jaw 103<SP>1</SP> carries a further vertically adjustable coupling jaw 69 and laterally adjustable jaw 65 so that the horizontal plane AA of the frame of the harvester lies between the maximum and minimum vertical adjustments of jaws 103<SP>1</SP> and 69. The pickup crop is delivered in the direction of the arrows to two feed rolls 25 and 27 which transport it via a stripping and cutter bar 29 to a comminuting device 33 provided with cutters 31.
