Abstract

1,162,065. Polyvinyl chloride compositions. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. 27 April, 1967 [28 April, 1966], No. 19563/67. Heading C3P. A composition comprises (1) 5 to 40% of a polyvinylchloride having a K value of 55 to 80, (2) 60 to 95% of an after-chlorinated polyvinylchloride having a chlorine content of 60 to 70%, a K value of 55 to 75, and being obtained by the chlorination of polyvinylchloride in the gel phase, and, optionally, (3) 3 to 20% of a chlorinated or sulphochlorinated polyolefin having a chlorine content of 20 to 60%. Other conventional additives such as plasticizers, e.g. dioctylphthalate and stabilizers, e.g. bariumcadmium stabilizers, may also be included, and the compositions may be moulded into, e.g., plates, foils, bottles, pipes and profiled elements.
