Abstract

1,161,704. Agricultural implements. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. 21 March, 1967, No. 13100/67. Heading A1B. A trash plate for a plough for use in burying the trash or cover crop under the furrow comprises a plate 18 situated on top of the mouldboard 15 and made from a relatively flexible plastics material, preferably a high density polyethylene having a smooth face. The inherent flexibility of the plate 18 permits it to yeld to prevent soil adhering thereto.
