[Also in Division E1] A windscreen is air-quenched symmetrically about the two main axes. into four areas that fracture into large pieces towards the centre, small pieces toward the peripheral areas and intermediate pieces therebetween. A blower chest is disclosed having a pattern of holes all equidistantly spaced and having a large diameter for the production of the small pieces, a small diameter for the large pieces and intermediate diameter holes therebetween.
