[Also in Division F1] A vehicle lifting platform 35, Fig. 2, is hinged to the lower ends of a pair of spaced vertical slides 38 (only one of which is shown), each connected at its upper end by a chain passing over a sprocket wheel 40, Fig. 3, carried by an hydraulic ram (see Division F 1) to a bracket fixed to a ram guide 37. The assembly so formed is mounted on an angle plate 31 bolted to the rear of the vehicle and the whole forms a detachable unit.
