Abstract

1,154,468. Tractor power lift mechan- TRAKTORENWERK SCHÍNEBECK VEB. 20 Aug., 1966, No. 37420/66. Heading A1P. A position control follow-up cam 23 associated with a position control valve 15 operates in combination with pressure fluctuations in the ram 4 to move a main control valve 1 whereby the depth of penetration of an attached implement is controlled. A decrease in draft of the implement initiates an increase of pressure in ram 4 which is applied via line 2 to move the valve 1 to the lower position against the pressure applied via line 18 from the accumulator 20. Lowering of the implement allows cam 23 to move the valve 15 via lever 7 into the raise position. Fluid pressure is then applied via lines 8, 14 and 18 to the valve 1 to move it into the raise position whereby the implement is raised until the valve 15 is returned by cam 23 to the neutral position and the pressures in lines 2 and 18 are equalized to return valve 1 to the neutral position. An increase in draft acts in a similar manner first to raise the implement and then to lower it. The response of the system is damped by an adjustable throttle 21 mechanically connected to the manual lever 6.
