An oxy-fuel torch with a tube 18 supplying cutting oxygen and a tube 19 supplying a fuel gas-oxygen mixture to a head 13 has an injector consisting of an insert 25 disposed in a recess 26 in the casing part 12 transversely of the pipes 18, 19. Heating oxygen passes through a valve (10) into a passage 24 and to a pressure nozzlebore 30; fuel gas passes through a valve (11) into an annular passage 33 surrounding the insert 25 to which passage suction is applied by the flowing heating oxygen.
