Abstract

1,152,323. Prefabricated building panels; interlocking wall panels. I. CLIFTON & SONS Ltd. 13 March, 1967 [31 March, 1966], No. 14199/66. Headings E1A and E1B. A building panel consisting of a wooden framework faced with plywood and packed with fibre glass or other heat and/or sound insulating material has one side provided with a locking device and an opposite side provided with an anchorage, such as a bar, which adjacent panels may be clamped together. The locking device is in the form of a hook pivoted at 17 to a pair of spaced discs which have a bridging piece 15 and are eccentrically mounted on a control spindle 12.
