Abstract

1,151,218. Cine projection apparatus. ESSOLDOMATIC Ltd. Aug.4, 1966 [Sept. 17, 1965], No.39692/65. Heading G2E. [Also in Division H3] In a cinematographic control equipment, light from a lamp 3 is reflected by a cueing mark 4, on a film 2, on to a sensing device 1 connected to a switching circuit. As shown, the lamp 3 is operated at one third its nominal voltage and irradiates a piece 4 of self-adhesive foil on a film 2. When a photo-transistor 1 is irradiated by light reflected from the foil 1, it becomes conductive, turning on transistor TR2 which turns off TR1 and energizes relay 13. When capacitor C1 has charged sufficiently to turn on TR1, TR2 becomes turned off, releasing relay 13. The relay may perform lens adjustments on one or both projectors or arrange change over of projectors.
