[Also in Divisions A1 and B2] A flexible blank of sheet material for a plant container consists of or comprises a foldable part shaped to form when folded with ends thereof overlapping and joined a hollow truncated cone open at the larger end, the sheet material comprising a continuous layer of absorbent fibre felt wholly or mainly of animal and/or vegetable fibres, or asbestos fibres, impregnated with bituminous material and coated on one face thereof with an adhering continuous film of a water-proof synthetic thermoplastic material e.g. polyvinyl chloride or polythene. The film which may be preformed may be adhered to the sheet material by the bitumen or by an interposed adhesive.
