Abstract

1,144,928. Air heaters. R. ZWAAN. 19 Sept., 1966 [21 Sept., 1965], No. 41676/66. Heading F4S. In an air heating appliance air to be heated is guided upwardly over a cylindrical combustion chamber 8 having a burner 11 and peep-window 14 and then over a second cylindrical chamber 17 parallelly arranged above chamber 8 and connected to the combustion chamber 8 by a channel 16 through which the combustion gases pass. The chamber 17 contains a guide means formed by a cylindrical sleeve 22 which is supported in spaced relation to the chamber wall and to an outlet tube 21 by radial ribs 24 and 25. The air to be heated is forced through the appliance by a blower 5 driven by a motor 4 and leaves through an outlet stub 7. The two cylindrical chambers may be arranged side-by-side.
