Microphones. - Apparatus for transmitting micro-oscillations comprises a pair of diaphragms connected to separate points on a lever which is thereby caused to oscillate about a real or virtual pivot between the connexions. The figure shows the apparatus applied to a microphone in which the diaphragms A, B, communicating with a common mouth-piece, are connected by rods H, T to the lever G which carries the movable electrodes of granular microphones C, D. A granule chamber may be provided at one end only of the lever.
