Abstract

1,141,792. Tractors. FARM HYDRAULICS Ltd. 13 May, 1966 [15 Feb., 1965], No. 6360/65. Heading B7H. [Also in Division A1] A power-driven agricultural vehicle or tractor comprises a framework body on front and rear wheels and mounting a seat, hand controls, and an implement bar or frame carrying agricultural implements mounted at a location spaced behind the front wheels by suspension means permitting the bar or frame to float. The driver's seat is situated in such a position that the driver's feet can rest on the bar or frame and downward pressure be applied thereto if required. As illustrated, the tool frame 6 on which cultivating tools 7 or other implements e.g. seed drills are mounted, is pivotally mounted on a main frame 1 by arms 8 and supported by chains 9. The chains are connected to arms 10 carried by a spindle 11. A hand lever 15 is connected to the spindle and carries a pawl 14 which co-operates with a ratchet 13. Actuation of the lever raises or lowers the tool frame 6 and also a rear implement tool frame 19 via linkage 16-18. A seat 22 is mounted on a telescopic support 23 the base of which is adjustably mounted on the main frame.
