Abstract

[Also in Division B6] - An injection moulding tool, Fig. 2, for a book cover e.g. polypropylene (see Division B6) comprises two separable mould sections 7, 8 of which one 7 is provided with a die cavity having a base corresponding in contour to the grooved face of the book cover to be moulded, and the other section 8 has either a planar surface 9, for sealing off the die cavity 6, 6a, or a die cavity with a planar base (9a, Fig. 3). In the former case, the flash line would be formed at a corner of the cover and present a sharp corner; and in the latter case, the corner (11a) is rounded off, and the flash line is at an edge of the cover.
