Abstract

1,136,333. Pontoon and pontoon rafts. N. E. WAY. 26 July, 1967 [20 Sept., 1966], No. 41949/66. Heading B7A. [Also in Division E1] A pontoon is formed of resin-bonded fibre glass mouldings constituting the deck 12, sides 13, ends 14 and bottom 18 of the pontoon, hollow transversely extending buoyancy and strengthening divisions 21, 22, 23 bonded to the underside of the deck, to the bottom and to the sides of the pontoon and dividing the pontoon into compartments 24, 25, 26, and at least two floats 20 (formed by depressions 19 in superimposed panels 18, 18a in Fig. 3), extending longitudinally of the bottom, one near each side thereof.
