Abstract

1,135,565. Ventilating. ANDREWSWEATHERFOIL Ltd., L. J. FOWLER, and R. W. PUZYNA. 26 May, 1966 [28 May, 1965], No. 22820/65. Heading F4V. Air circulating apparatus comprises a rectangular box at each end of which is a fan unit 32 comprising a fan 35 within a casing 27. The fan units are removably located over air inlet apertures 12, sealing gaskets 31 of foam rubber being placed between flanges 30 at the bottom of the fan casings 27 and the surrounds of the air inlets 12. The air drawn through the inlets 12 is discharged through a louvred aperture 14 in the hinged lid 11 of the box. A heating battery 15 comprising horizontal water tubes 16 supplied with transverse fins 17 may be located beneath the outlet aperture 14, the tubes 16 being removably connected to inlet and outlet tubes 26 by means of joints 25. The apparatus is designed to stand against the wall of a laboratory, the lid 11 being intended to lie flush with or just above a wall bench.
