Abstract

1,133,379. tables. PATON, CALVERT & CO. Ltd. 10 July, 1967 [8 July, 1966], No. 30736/66. Heading A4H. A folding table has an X underframe comprising two U-members 11, 12 pivoted together at 21, the connecting member 14 of one U-member 12 being pivoted to the table top and the connecting member 13 of the other U-member 11 being slidable between two straps 15 and the undersurface of the table top. The pivoted connecting member 14 is disposed in grooves 16 in the ends of the straps 15, and projections 18 in the connecting member 14 fit into circumferential slots 17 in the grooves 16. Studs 19 on the projections 18 retain the connecting member 14 in position.
