Abstract

1,131,925. Lubricants. SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ N.V. 10 March, 1967, No. 11400/67. Heading C5F. The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1,131,926 but the claims are concerned with ester lubricating oils containing, as the two essential additives, the same reaction product of the polyamine with the succinic acid and an ester-lubricating oil-soluble basic polyvalent metal salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid. Optional additives are as described in Specification 1,131,926.
