Abstract

1,129,470. Suction cleaners. GOBLIN (B.V.C.) Ltd. 25 Oct., 1967 [25 July, 1966], No. 33357/66. Heading A4F. A brush and beater assembly for up upright vacuum cleaner comprises a moulding 8 detachably mounted in a cylindrical stock 1 and including an integral beater bar 10 which projects radially through the stock wall and a brush 13 detachably mounted in the moulding and projecting radially through the stock wall diametrically opposite the bar 10. A second moulding 9 (Fig. 2, not shown) similar to the moulding 8 may be detachably mounted in the stock 1 and spaced axially from the moulding 8, the two mouldings being so arranged that a beater bar 10 of one and the brush 13 of the other are disposed on the same side of the stock 1.
