Abstract

1,126,660. Photographic camera. INTERNATIONAL POLAROID CORP. Dec.14, 1966 [Dec.30, 1965], No.56024/66. Heading G2A. A photographic camera includes a lightattenuating member mounted within the camera for movement into and out of engagement with the photo-sensitive material, and coupling means responsive to operation of the manual shutteractuating means for engaging the member with the sensitive material to cause the configuration of the member to be recorded thereon. As shown in Fig.2, the camera forms two indentical composite images having recorded thereon markings 26, 32 carried by the member 24. The member 24 is pivoted at its upper edge, the lower edge being biased away from the sensitive material folded in a film supply magazine 72. Depression of the shutter release 10 acts, through a biased lever and a projection 16, on an L-shaped lever 18 which causes the member 24 to engage the sensitive material against its bias. The camera may contain two similar vertically separated optical systems, Fig.6 (not shown), each comprising two lens systems, one lens system being within the camera and the other without. The internal lens systems project via a mirror, two similar images of e.g. a record card on to the sensitive material, and the external systems project two images of an external object on to the same material.
