A pneumatic power-assisted steering system for a vehicle comprises a pivotally mountable servo-cylinder 7 connected, by a piston rod 7d, to a vehicle steering arm 9, a divided drag link 3 including a casing 4 rigidly secured to a part 3a of the drag link and enclosing, for relative axial movement between centralising springs 4a, 4b a part 3b of the drag link, and a master valve 5, which is mounted on the casing 4 and controls the supply of pressure air to the chambers 7b, 7c of the servo-cylinder 7, a valve element 5a of the valve 5 being actuated by a single armed lever 4f which is fulcrummed in the casing 4, and coupled to the drag link part 3b near the fulcrum to give a high transmission ratio.
