Abstract

1,118,428. Pneumatic tyres. CONTINENTAL GUMMI-WERKE A.G. 30 June, 1966 [27 July, 1965], No. 29388/66. Heading B7C. [Also in Division B5] In a belted tyre wherein the tread 1 is of natural or synthetic rubber and contains the belt 2 the carcass 5 is of polyurethane and is devoid of any reinforcement except for bead cores 4. The tread is bonded to the carcass. A preformed belted tread may be inserted in a mould and the tyre completed by pouring polyurethane into the mould.
