Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions having antiandrogenic activity comprise a carrier and 4a , 8a , 14b - trimethyl - 18 - nor - 9 (a or b ), 13b - androstane - 3, 11, 17 - trione in the weight ratio 2.5:1 to 2500:1. They may be in conventional forms for oral, parential and topical administration. Ointments (for the treatment of acne) may also comprise fusidic acid or a salt thereof.
