Abstract

1,115,609. Cleaning fabrics. S. RAMELSON. 28 April 1967, No. 19825/67. Heading DIP. A lint-removing roller comprises a hollow replaceable cylinder on which is wound, in a plurality of layers, a strip of pressure-sensitive adhesive material 35 having a non-adhesive border 45 at one or both edges and having a slit 41 extending through substantially all the layers. The slit may be parallel, or at an angle of 10-70‹, to a line normal to the edges. The non-adhesive border(s) and the slit enable a used layer to be readily removed so exposing the next layer for further use.
