Abstract
1,115,398. Combs. J. JENSEN. 23 Aug., 1966, No. 37633/66. Heading A4V. A comb made from a flexible resilient material e.g. rubber, ebonite or other plastic material is coated with a metallic coating of thickness 1-10 Á which covers the total surface of the comb, suitably by depositing the vapour of a metal e.g. Ag or Al on to the comb, under vacuum. The metal coating prevents the accumulation of static electricity and may, if desired, be covered with a thin layer of lacquer without destroying the anti-static properties.
