Abstract

1,110,896. Disc brake. H. TEVES, E. A. TEVES and M. TAUSEND [trading as ALFRED TEVES MASCHINEN-UND ARMATURENFABRIK KOMM. GES.]. 3 March, 1966 [28 Aug., 1965], No. 9373/66. Heading F2E. The actuating piston of a disc brake is prevented from rotating by a projection which engages with a notch 12 provided in an arcuate portion 9 of the piston end face. The projection 12 may be formed, as shown, on a looking plate 2 having forked sections 4 embracing the lining retaining pins 5 carrying the brake lining carrier 6. In a modification the projection is formed on the carrier itself.
