[Also in Division A5] An artificial breast to replace or supplement a natural breast comprises a cup 10 of foamed plastics material, e.g. polyester or polyether, filled with foamed plastics shreds 18 which may be mixed with glass or ceramic beads 20 or with a liquid such as water or glycerine. The cup preferably has a cloth covering 12, the cup and covering being made water proof if the filling includes a liquid. The backing portion 16 of the cover is flat or hollowed out according to need.
