1,107,489. Transistor mixer circuits. MULLARD Ltd. 9 May, 1967, No. 21423/67. Heading H3T. A frequency changer comprises a long-tailedpair Tr1, Tr2 and an oscillator Tr3 in which the oscillator signal is applied to the base of at least one of the transistors Tr1, Tr2 and the R.F. signal is applied to the base of the other, e.g. from a tuned circuit C1, T1, and in which the I.F. output is derived from a tuned circuit C3, L1 in one of the collector circuits. As described, the oscillator signal is applied to both transistors Tr1, Tr2 via capacitors C2, C4. An A.G.C. signal may also be applied to the base of transistor Tr1.
