A pneumatic tyre valve cap comprises a cap portion 11 provided with a retaining strap 13 of resilient material terminating in a ring 14 which can be stretched over the valve body and then exerts a grip on the body. The cap 11 may be provided with ribs 12 to grip the valve body when the cap is applied or it may be rotatable relative to the strap. The whole assembly may be moulded in neoprene.
