The apparatus of Specification 1,068,956 is modified by the addition of a second float-switch arrangement to provide for the dosing of a second additive. As described, when the level of mixture in the tank 2 falls the floatswitch system 59, 64 causes gum and etch concentrate from reservoir 11, and water, to be supplied to the tank as before; at a second predetermined level, float-switch system 69, 72 stops the flow of concentrate and water and starts a flow of alcohol or other wetting agent; and when the tank is full system 59, 64 stops the flow of alcohol and starts the pump 8 to empty the tank.
