Abstract
1,099,918. Laminating apparatus. PRE FINISH METALS Inc. Sept. 16, 1966 [Sept. 20, 1965], No. 41400/66. Heading B5N. [Also in Divisions B6 and D1] Apparatus for laminating a film of plastic metal strip comprises a frame supporting two idler rollers 34, Figs. 1 and 3, over which the strips 35, 36 are guided, and a co-operating pair of rollers comprising a treatment roller 25 and a supporting roller 24 mounted on a carriage 19 which is vertically adjustable so as to vary the degree of deviation of the strip from its normal path over the rollers 34 from zero, with line contact with the roller 25, Fig. 3, to a maximum wherein the strip contacts nearly half of the roller periphery, Fig. 1.
