Abstract

A laminated panel comprises curved facing sheets 2 spaced apart and adhered together by a core of expanded foam plastics material 1 which has been partially cut through its thickness by a plurality of parallel slits 6 and then flexed to the required curved form to provide where it abuts one or other of said facing layers a plurality of strips, said strips being separated from each other by wedge-shaped voids 6. Fig. 2 shows a modified panel having wooden end strips 7. The specified foam is polystyrene, specified facing sheets being cardboard.
