109,371. Jacobs, S. G. Jan. 4, 1917. Hoods, opening tops, and weather screens.- Relates to motor-cars having cylindrical or polygonal bodies such as described in Specification 102,537. The cylindrical front or wind-screen part a does not extend to the transverse median plane of the body, and the rear cylindrical part b has a panel or extension c hinged thereto for completing the closure of the roof. The side windows b<2> are in one with the part b so that they turn down with it into the recess in the lower part of the vehicle. The beading d is detached to reduce the width before turning down the part b, b<2>. The forward side parts or windows a<1> turn down into the doors f.
