Abstract

[Also in Division E2] The pocket clip for a pen is provided with two parallel spaced-apart dugs 18, reach having an outwardly biased resilient ear 22. The cap, Fig. 7, is provided with an aperture at its closed end, which aperture extends over the side wall of the cap and over part of the bottom thereof. When assembled (Fig.14) the lugs 18 extend through the aperture in the cap, and the ears 22 spread out inside the cap to hold the clip in position. A cup-shaped washer (86, Fig. 14), inserted into the cap to abut the front edges 29 of the lugs 18, seals off the end of the cap by pressing against the inside wall of the cap.
