Jackets and covers.-A tyre cover comprises an inner built-up foundation 10 capable of withstanding the stresses set up by the air-tube 14, a cushion 11 of rubber &c. which may be of a spongy nature, and an outer wearing cover 12 fitted with the usual rubber tread 17, the various parts being united to form a one-piece cover. The edges of the fabric layers 10 may be extended under the beads 13 of the part 12, and a seating ring 18 for the air tube may be fitted separately, or may be secured to one edge of the cover.
