Abstract

1,080,939. Screwdrivers. J. STEAD & CO. Ltd. June 29, 1966, No. 28727/65. Heading B4W. A screwdriver 1 having a crosspoint 4 is provided with one or more extension stems as at 7A, each extension stem being formed at one end with a screwdriver bit 14 and at the other end 9 with a tubular socket 12 having cruciform slots which lie at the bottom of the socket. At the intersection of the cruciform slots a blind hole 10 is drilled coaxial with the main stem portion 8. In a modification the extension stem has an ordinary screwdriver bit suitable for wood screws.
