Abstract

The invention relates to dialkyl amino-iminopyrrolidine derivatives of the general formula <FORM:1080680/C2/1> in which R1 is an alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, cycloalkyl, aroyl or arylsulphonyl group, R2 is an alkyl, cycloalkyl or a substituted aryl group, R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, are alkyl groups or together with the nitrogen atom may be linked to form a ring which may contain additional hereto atoms, R5 and R6, which may be the same or different, are alkyl groups, or may be linked together to form a hydrocarbon ring, and X is oxygen or sulphur. Many compounds are claimed per se. The compounds may be prepared by reacting enanines whose beta carbon atom carries alkyl radicals with isocyanates or isothiocyanates and isonitriles in an organic solvent at a temperature from 40 DEG to 150 DEG C.
