Abstract

1,080,421. Display cartons. RECKITT & COLMAN (OVERSEAS) Ltd., and G. A. ASH. Oct. 8, 1964 [March 16, 1964], No. 11046/64. Heading B8P. A cardboard carton formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1 has a panel 9a which is torn from the carton blank and hinged about line c, d to form with the lid 6 a display panel. The display panel is hinged down below the base of the carton (which may stand on a shelf) and a portion 14 of the lid allows the display panel to have a U-shape (Fig. 2). Slits i, k in the lids engage slits m in the blank to locate the display panel. In another embodiment the lid and panel 9a may be completely separated from the carton and inserted against the opposite wall with the top projecting upwardly. A part of the lid or panel 9a may be cut off to suit the display required.
